The Comenius Programme focuses on all levels of school education, from pre-school and
primary to secondary schools. It is relevant for everyone involved in school education: mainly
pupils and teachers but also local authorities, representatives of parents' associations, non-
government organisations, teacher training institutes and universities.
The Grundtvig programme focuses on the teaching and study needs of learners taking adult education and
'alternative' education courses, as well as the organisations delivering these services. It aims to help develop the
adult education sector, as well as enable more people to undertake learning experiences, notably in other European
countries.
mostly The courses in the Comenius/Grundtvig database comes from projects funded by a LLP or Previous
programs project or network that involve the formation of a partnership between training institutions in Europe.
These courses, which are identified by the Code of the Project (Origin of the training - Course Resulting from a
previous Socrates Project) will fulfill the goals and objectives of the program arises.
The courses are made by international teams, and are allowed to participate people from five or more countries.
This is to ensure, in the team work composition, the desired of European dimension.
Of course, the presence of colleagues from different European countries will promote the exchange of experiences and
good practices, stimulate the use of foreign languages and provide the basis for the creation of new
projects.
